Global Water Works Aims to Accelerate Adoption of Water Saving Technologies
On the eve of #WorldWaterDay 2016, we are pleased to announce the creation of Global Water Works.
While thousands of organizations have been advocating for water conservation for decades, only in the last few years have we had the technology to measure what we’ve always wanted to manage. The arrival of big data, artificial intelligence, geographical information systems (GIS), smart meters and the Internet of Things has created a new opportunity for water. Not only are companies like Google, Pepsico and Miller Coors demonstrating the benefits of data-driven water stewardship, but water innovation hubs are attracting top technologists. And, leading governmental and environmental organizations are banding together to support innovation and education. Witness the growth of ThinkWater.US, the Alliance for Water Stewardship and the U.S. Water Partnership.
It’s a new day for water, and it hasn’t arrived a moment too soon!
We at Global Water Works have a singular vision and mission tied to our name: To help BUSINESS help global water work for the planet, people and profit.
Our team of tech marketers, storytellers and PR leaders is grateful to all of the scientists, engineers, academicians and environmental organizations who have made the case for change, and who have also created the technology to enable that change.
